Fishing should be good throughout the creek and Brodhead watershed in general. Water levels are running about bank full and the bugs and the fish are becoming more active. There are a few may flies hatching but nymphing has still been the most productive type of fishing.

Description: About Brodhead Creek

The Brodhead Creek is a medium sized, freestone creek, that flows through Stroudsburg, PA near the Delaware Water Gap. Rich in fly fishing history, the historic Brodhead Creek has 7 miles of accessible water from the village of Analomink to the Delaware River. The Brodhead has a great mix of stocked and wild trout through out it's length and some great hatches through out the season. The best times to fish are generally in the spring, early summer and fall. It is best known for it's hatches of Sulphurs, Blue Winged Olives, and Slate Drakes. If you are looking for the best time to be on the water, the evenings from Mid May to Mid June are hard to beat.
