The Lodge at Glendorn's Tip of the Week
Water temperatures are too warm currently for trout fishing below the dam. Follow the Kinzua Dam on Facebook for updated water conditions and a 5-day forecast for water levels. Once water temperatures reach suitable levels, expect fishing conditions to improve.

Lodge at Glendorn5-Day Outlook as of 9/22/23
Warm reservoir temperatures are creating stressful water temperatures for trout below the dam. Warm water fish can still be successfully caught but hold off from the trout fishing until temperatures become safe again.
Techniques & Tips as of 9/22/23
Pounding banks with streamers during high water periods. Or early in the morning. Nymphing pockets during low water conditions. During the fall, swinging streamers with a two handed rod can be a very effective way to target large brown trout during wadable flows.
