Techniques & Tips as of 10/18/21

With overnight lows driving down the stream temps, we have seen our best fishing from 9AM-4PM. We have seen many fish rising to blue wing olives and some mahogany duns on any overcast or stormy days. If fish aren't rising, try nymphing the deep pools and runs as fish are moving into their slower fall, and winter lies. The river is low and clear so make sure you are using long 5-6x leaders. Please feel free to give a call down to the shop anytime for more detailed info or any questions you have about fishing our valley. 970-879-6552
