Description: About Eagle River

Winding 70 plus mile from the top of Tennessee Pass to the confluence of the Colorado river the Eagle is really three distinctive fisheries that will keep the anglers on their toes. The upper river is predominantly a Brown trout fishery, the middle river is a good mix of Brown and Rainbows, the lower river is mostly Rainbows with some very large browns mixed in. Our Mothers Day Caddis hatch can rival the one on the Arkansas. Late June through July is some of the best Caddis fly fishing in the state!!
