Orvis Phoenix 's Tip of the Week
Lots of fish still shallow, trying to "spawn". Egg patterns with cmids or midge pupae have been doing great. Even stripping a black bugger.

5-Day Outlook as of 4/2/25
If the weather calls for wind, Becker can be a miserable place to be. Snow and cold weather coming in. Slow fishing.
Techniques & Tips as of 4/2/25
Fish chironomids under indicators, streamers, and leeches. Follow the wind! We have been having luck setting our indicator rigs just a foot above the bottom. Otherwise a foot above the weed beds if they are still roaming shallow!
