Welcoming cooler weather. Mostly split generation between 0 and 1 turbine daily with sluice. Dry dropper time and streamers in the afternoon. 11/04/24 Not a bad choice for early fall trout fishing in the southeast.

Float and wade utilizing different techniques. Streamers for larger trout always a good choice with higher flows. Dry fly and dry dropper on lower flows.

Description: About Toccoa River

The Toccoa River tailrace flows north from Lake Blue Ridge dam in Blue Ridge, GA to Copperhill, TN. The river is about 14 miles long with 4 public access points and two popular float stretches. The Toccoa is considered a small tailrace fishery compared to the other TVA coldwater fisheries in the area. Approximately 35-40 yards wide in most places, it is a small river drift boat experience. much of the river is bordered by private land with limited access. Drift boat fishing is the most productive, especially for larger fish.
