5-Day Outlook as of 4/6/23

Work edge of flats early on in coming tide. Water is crystal clear and warnind up. reds and trout will really start to feed. Tarpon are showing up on flats.

Techniques & Tips as of 4/6/23

Dropoff on grass flats are still holding the largest trout. Tailing reds are working the low incoming tide on the flats. Must fish early in the day because of water is hot by noon.

Water temps coming up red fish are in largel schools on the flats. Trout are still in deep drop off on the flats and holding on deep patches of grass.Tarpon are starting to move up in to the bay.

Description: About Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay, St. Pete, Clearwater and Homosassa. Fish the clear water grass flats. Giant tarpon of Homosassa. Most of the Tampa Bay area flats are aquatic preserves with no motor zones.
