Slate Run Tackle's Tip of the Week

The Stretch on Pine Creek is full of trout, including carry-overs, Brown Trout from the the October 2 Brown Trout Club stocking and Rainbows and Browns from the PFBC stocking on October 12. October rains have brought increased water flows and lower water temperatures. Successful fly anglers have been using streamers and wooly buggers, although some dry fly action has been reported.
