West Branch Angler's Tip of the Week
6/11, Flows are currently at 557 and steady at Hale Eddy. This is a great flow for wade and boat anglers. The river is clear and looking good. This week we are getting a mix of heat and hopefully some precipitation as we move towards the weekend. Here on the West Sulphurs and March Browns have been the most productive dry fly opportunity during the day. The last 45 minutes of light, "magic hour" as I like to call it has been consistent with a fish eating a good mix of Sulphurs and spinners.

Techniques & Tips as of 6/11/26
The bugs have been getting better as they days go on here on the mighty west branch. Been seeing solid bugs throughout the system. March Browns, Sulphurs, and Caddis are all around! If you're not finding fish with their heads up it's a safe bet that they're eating nymphs. Tightline/indicator/dry dropper are all effective ways to nymph right now.
