Description: About Fall River

Fall River is the largest spring creek in North America. Starting just north of Dana California at Thousand Springs. The river travels south feeding over 20 miles of unique trout habitat. There are only 2 public access spots on the river and the upper river access does not allow gas motors. Fishing varies from easy to highly technical depending on technique and time of year. From mid-June to early August Hex mayfly's draw anglers from all over the country. Other hatches can be consistent if weed growth is stable. Hiring a guide is a good idea on this fishery due to limited access and the technical nature of the fishing.
