Description: About Saguaro Lake

Saguaro Lake is located just 15 minutes east of Phoenix off the Bush Highway. The Butcher Jones access is float tube, pontoon and kayak friendly and is stocked with rainbow from October through March. However this lake is known for its giant largemouth bass. LMB in the 10+lbs range are landed out of this lake every year. There are ample sight fishing opportunities for these LMB from mid Feb through March during their spawn and they can also be targeted throwing large rainbow trout streamers. We fish heavily weighted "bed" flies to target the spawners. A boat is necessary to reach the best fishing on this lake.
