Canyon Lake is part of the Salt River Chain of Lakes. Canyon is know to produce some of the biggest Largemouth Bass in the state. It is also stocked with rainbow trout throughout the winter and has resident yellow bass and sunfish. The Boulder Cove area near the marina is a perfect spot to launch a float tube, pontoon or kayak and get your trout fix on in the winter months. If you are looking to target bass think about throwing big articulated streamers that resemble a rainbow trout. Fly Anglers have caught some bass over 10lbs during the winter months.
